The world today is hungry for the Supernatural. This is because society has moved beyond the modern age, with its emphasis on reason and logic, to a post-modern age with its emphasis on spirituality. People flock to mediums and psychics, while movies and television shows abound with supernatural themes. Unfortunately, much of this spirituality is demonically inspired. While some debate whether the supernatural is for today, a spiritually aware world embraces the counterfeit.

However, the good news is that God is restoring power to his church in unprecedented ways. Reports of healings, miracles, resurrections, angelic visitations, third heaven encounters and so on are becoming more frequent in many parts of the world. The world is ready for the church to operate in supernatural power in every sphere of life. The church needs again to be 'anointed' with the Holy Spirit and power and go about doing good and healing those oppressed by the devil.' This is the aim of the School of the Supernatural. Join us for an exciting journey into God's supernatural realm.

Following on from Rick Warren's hugely popular book "The Pupose Driven Life" and influentual "40 days of purpose" in which he showed that each of us has a clear purpose to our lives, comes 40 days of community.

In this new course which we will be following together as a church in the near future, we will learn to live out God’s five purposes in community with other believers, encourage each other to reach outside the four walls of the church and to serve in our local community.

By the end of 40 Days of Community, we hope that you will:

1. Place a greater value on relationships within your church
2. Have a solid commitment to your local church as well as to our small groups
3. Better understand where you belong within the vision and mission of our church
4. Have extended your church's influence in your community through individual and group outreach projects

Host Training

We will be holding an evening of training for all those who have volunteered to host a 40 Days small group on Tuesday 22nd May, at 7.30pm in the Function Room. To celebrate the Queen's Jubilee on Sunday 3rd June 2012, we are invite you to join with us for a picnic at Pontcanna Fields.

It will follow our regular 11am service which ends between 12.30pm and 1pm, weather permitting. Please bring along a packed lunch, sun-cream and probably an umbrella!
