The City Temple Church family

Pray that each person may be strengthened by the Holy Spirit and know the depth of God’s love. That City Temple would be a praying church.

EPHESIANS 3:16-18 “I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being … And I pray that you, …may grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of God.”

Tuesdays

The people of Cardiff

To have their hearts prepared in readiness to receive the Gospel. That God would place Christians around them & equip them to proclaim the good news boldly.

JOHN 8:32 “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

JOSHUA 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

Wednesdays

For the City

For an increase in the number of Christians being placed in positions of influence & for Christians to flourish where they are in their workplaces.

PROVERBS 22:29 “Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve before kings; he will not serve before obscure men.”

EPHESIANS 2:10 “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Thursdays

For the wider Church

For unity & for each member to receive a greater revelation of their function and calling. For an increased hunger to know God intimately.

1 CORINTHIANS 12:12 “For the body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.”

Fridays

For our Pastors & Leaders

For effective use of their time. An intimate knowledge of God. Strength, protection & unity within their family relationships. For a deeper sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. For wisdom & discernment.

PSALM 103:7 “He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel”

DEUTERONOMY 6:7 “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.”

Saturdays

Those in Authority in our land.

Pray for the Queen, the royal family, The Prime Minister and government. For the Welsh Assembly and the local council. Pray that they will govern wisely and fairly for the benefit of all in society.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”

Sundays

Praise & worship to God

Pray that the church will praise and worship our great God . Pray that the Name of the Lord Jesus will be magnified & exalted. Thank Him for your salvation.

PSALM 40: 3 “And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many shall see and fear (revere and worship) and put their trust and confident reliance in the Lord.”
