Earlier this month Pastor Steve Harris completed 10 years of service on the pastoral team here at City Temple. Over those years Steve has made a tremendous contribution to the church, particularly in the areas of evangelism and children's ministry and now in the leadership of the Beacon Church in St Mellons. We thank God for Steve, Myra, Daniel and Suzie praying God's blessing on them as they continue to serve with us.
You may remember that before Christmas we shared how members of City Temple were making a difference this year by not sending Christmas Cards. It may sound like a story from the Grinch but we can assure you that it definitely was not.
We have had an extraordinary week! The conference "On Earth as it is in Heaven" with Bill Johnson saw the church packed from Monday night to Wednesday night with delegates from all over the UK, despite the snow falls.
