City Temple has always been and continues to be a church with a heart for youth and children across the City. We have a lot to thank God for, in that, we have a thriving youth and children's ministry with 100s of young people attending regularly every week. Our aim is to reach children and young people at their level and to teach them sound Biblical truth and lead them to become followers of Jesus.
Every Sunday hundreds of kids enjoy a tailor made kid's programme which is loads of fun and helps them not only to learn the stories and information about Jesus, but to become real worshippers and followers of Christ. AdventureZone takes place during Sunday morning services and is full of energy and life.
Over the past 80 years City Temple has been a pioneering and innovative church with a vision for reaching young people with the gospel. Many of the inspirations over the years have included Sunday School, youth groups meeting all over the city, mid week activities, weekends away, boy's clubs, open air services and summer camps.
In the words of one of our Children's leaders, "We thank God for eighty years of blessing on the children's and youth ministry at City Temple but we know that we have only seen a small part of what God can do. We are sure that the best is yet to come!"
