The City Temple is a city centre church with a citywide vision. Started in 1929 after an extraordinary 51 nights of pioneer outreach meetings led by evangelist George Jeffreys, which saw over 3,000 converted and many wonderful healings the City Temple opened in 1934 on a prime site opposite Sophia Gardens, and now just a stone's throw from Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
Part of the Elim Pentecostal Church, a nationwide movement with over 600 churches throughout the UK, we are a growing church with an increasingly international congregation including many from Africa. We have a heart for the expanding city of Cardiff, for Wales and for the Nations.
