Take it to the streets
What do homeless people, test match umpires and tourists have in common? Answer: - They were all drawn to City Temple's latest street outreach afternoon and personally told about God's great love for them and his amazing plan for their lives.Working with a team from the USA under the leadership of Ray Hughes (Selah Ministries) a team of 40 from City Temple and other Cardiff churches enjoyed a powerful afternoon of evangelism outreach in Queen Street, Cardiff.
Amongst the American team were some amazing drummers who used their gift to draw a crowd who were then engaged in conversation by other team members.
Whilst many of those involved were a little aprehensive at first, everyone came back excited by what God had done and each had exciting stories about people they had met. People definitely heard the Gospel message and many were prayed for and invited to church.
The day concluded with a powerful meeting in the City Temple.
